Is the Middle East Worth It?

Hugging a cold stone because it is all you are left with breaks my heart. It really makes me wonder why some much energy is waste destroying life instead of improving it.

I'm too small a spark of life to fix the worlds problems.

On a lighter note, I'm really thankful for the charity that puts the wreaths on the grave stones at the military cemetaries. Brian's dad is buried at Arlington and he's not been able to go for years. It gave me a happy cry to know that someone might have put a wreath on his stone this year when we couldn't.

It just makes me very sad. I want our country to be known for peace not this unnecessary mess we are in. It makes me sad to think of the pain this young woman must be feeling. I remember that pain all to well during another unnecessary war. Lord, please help us to be better citizens of the world.
